Thomas Jefferson
Thomas Jefferson was born on April 13th 1743 and died July 4th 1826. He was president of the United States from March 4th 1801, to March 4th 1809. He was an American Founding Father, the main author of the Declaration of Independence, and the third president of the U.S. He was a spokesman for democracy, embraced the principles of republicanism and the rights of the individual with worldwide influence. At the beginning of the American Revolution, he served in the Continental Congress, representing Virginia.
