Valley Forge
Valley Forge was a site that the Continental Army used in 1777-1778. Near 2,500 American Soldiers died due to the poor conditions they experienced. George Washington was commanding the army at the time and he had small cabins built for his soldiers that only held about twelve at a time. About every one in three soldiers had shoes on their feet.
